Tryng to survive

Only trying. Made it through the weekend alright. Monday finally came and with it the interview. And a lot of rain. I made it early to the place, with about 30 minutes to spare. Entered the building and the doormen, two Puertor rican wonderful guys, allowed me to sit there, get myself together, and get ready and dry. They were so nice to a total stranger it almost gave me hope again. Interview went VERY well. I know every aspect of the job, know many people in the reproductive medicine circle and can handle the workload. The job requires 6 weeks training in California and the benefits are very good. A very small group, part of a small company. The down side, they require a license I don't have, but I have 3 years to get. As I am there my phone vibrates. It was a call to schedule another interview.

I call them back and they want to see me on Thursday, over at The NY Hospital. I know the group well. I know every detail of the job; the down side, they want someone with a full license yesterday. We'll see on Thursday how it goes. That means two more days here before the interview. I will not be able to go back home until Friday, almost two weeks away from home. I don't know how my husband made it for 4 months in California last year. No wonder he was so depressed.

Is now Tuesday night. Maybe if I go to bed early the day will seem short.
